PRODUCT REVIEW: Billie Goat Skin Care

One of my favourite games to play with poor, unsuspecting strangers is the “how old do you think I am?” game.

Because I’ve got an almost perfect success rate of the person thinking I’m a good 5 or so years younger than I am.  Which works really well for me because I am struuuuggling with the fact that I am 29 tomorrow. We’re on the brink of an early-life crisis people, I’m telling you…

Jokes aside (I’m not joking), I truly believe that the key to my youthful appearance is my skin, more specifically, the fact that I’ve taken pretty good care of it since I was a young teenager.

I go through phases of being obsessed with different products but I thought I’d share with you a few of my latest faves…

Now, I found these bad boys at Priceline however you can also grab them online and I’ll be honest, after doing a little bit of research, I was impressed. Their skincare range is made from super premium ingredients, right here in Australia and there are no added nasties or harsh chemicals in the products.

With all the shoots and events I go to- my poor face is often loaded up under a heap of makeup. Because of this, I tend to avoid wearing much on my days off to give my skin a bit of a break.

No makeup, no editing, no filters.

No makeup, no editing, no filters.

Lately I’ve been mixing ½ of the Billie Goat Hydrating Face Day Cream with ½ of my Nars foundation to create a super-nourishing tinted moisturiser.

It’s moisturising but not greasy, with cocoa butter, jojoba oil, grape seed oil and coconut oil. All of the good oils!

I’m also a huge fan of lathering myself up in lotions and potions just before I go to bed. I like the idea of all these magical concoctions working wonders on my skin/hair/feet while I sleep. PLUS, leading up to Spring Racing Carnival, night repair is your best bet for glowing skin on the day.

The Billie Goat Hydrating Face Night Cream contains soothing Australian goat’s milk, cocoa butter, olive oil, grapeseed oil and coconut oil. You can basically eat the stuff it’s that good for you.

Except don’t, because it also contains coenzyme Q10 and niacinamide to prevent the signs of ageing & improve your skin’s elasticity and suppleness.

It’s times like this I wish blogging was a face-to-face medium so you could feel my baby-soft, don’t-look-a-day-over-24-face for proof.
